Googies Art Cafe | Googies Cafe Bar – World Famous In Folkestone
Googies Art Cafe are passionate about everything they do. Their coffee is direct trade (which is even fairer than Fair Trade) they only work with small batch roasters whose ethos is to work directly with the farmers to secure the best quality coffee but at a fair price for the farmers. The coffee and food is so good that it was recently voted The People’s Favourite Cafe in a survey conducted by ThisisKent. Locally sourced food is a priority in the kitchen and the local butcher, baker and farms make their well prepared food even better.
The cafe itself is an ever evolving art gallery. There’s also free wi-fi..Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options are available – just ask.
The Grand Folkestone
The Grand is located on The Leas in the heart of Folkestone West and serves a wide variety of teas, coffees, cakes lunchtime snacks and, of course, cream tea. There’s also a bar with chesterfield sofas, or if you’re feeling more beer garden than clotted cream then pop down to Keppels for a pint and a burger.
